Winchester leads Bucksport baseball to win over Dexter
Ryan Winchester pitched a complete game shutout as he fired a three hitter, allowing two walks, while striking out 13. Winchester threw 104 pitches (70 strikes) to lead Bucksport to a 9-0 win at Dexter on Thursday afternoon.
Jason Terrill paced the offense with three hits, three runs scored, and one RBI. Bo Provencher had two hits and three RBI, including a double. Gavyn Holyoke hit a two run triple. Trent Goss reached base three times and scored three runs. Bucksport (2-2) will host George Stevens on Friday.
Chase Farnsworth had two hits for the Tigers. Will Spratt pitched a complete game, allowing nine runs (six earned) on 10 hits and two walks, while striking out five. Dexter (0-4) will be at Mattanawcook on Friday.
