Softball summaries -5/3/2024

Bucksport 11 Searsport 1- Natalie Simpson pitched a one hitter and one unearned run, she didn't issue a walk, while striking out 14 in five innings. Sam Cyr had three hits and three RBI.

Lawrence 6 Cony 5- Maylie Knox singled home Kaylee Elkins in the bottom of the 8th inning to give the Bulldogs the walk off win. Elkins reached base five times from the leadoff spot with three hits, three runs scored, and two walks.

Woodland 17 Bangor Christian 0- Brooke Smith pitched a perfect game in a four inning complete, she struck out 10.  Smith also had a single, double, and triple with the bat plus three runs scored. Kaylin Hamilton had three hits.

Oxford Hills 6 Edward Little 2- Kyeria Morse hit a homer and had two RBI. Morse also earned the win in the circle. Allowing two runs in 5.1 innings.

Belfast 20 Waterville 0-  Jordyn MacKay had three hits, including two doubles and a home run, Emma Tripp and Kloe Luce had three hits each. Danica Gray earned the win in the circle, pitching three scoreless innings.

Nokomis 7 Messalonskee 2- Mia Coots pitched a two hitter and had two hits. She allowed two runs and no walks, while striking out nine.

Ellsworth 8 Bangor 5- Sophia Lynch went 4-4 with a double, Jayden Sullivan had two hits, including a two run homer.

Orono 8 Mount View 0- Jillian Severance- pitched a three hitter with 16 strikeouts. She didn't issue a walk. Andrea Crocker had two hits and three RBI, Emma LaBelle had two hits and three runs scored.

Hampden 5 Brewer 2- Kiera Gabric, Charlee Chute, and  Laurali Parker had two hits each.

Old Town 14 John Bapst 3-  Saige Evans had three hits and four RBI, Alexis Degrasse and Taylor Madden each ad two hits and three RBI
