#7 Maine men's hockey (13-3-2, 5-2-1 Hockey East) back in conference play for the remainder of the season beginning at 7 p.m this evening with the first of two on the road at UConn (8-9-2, 4-6-1). The Black Bears won the only other meeting this season over the Huskies in Orono at the Alfond 7-3 on December 3. Victor Ostman will be in net for Maine. UConn has had a couple great chances to extend the lead to three, but remains 2-0 Huskies with 6:30 left first period

End of first period- UConn 2, Maine men's hockey 0. Shots on goal 11-9 Huskies. The Black Bears played arguably one of worst periods of their season thus far and lucky to only be down two

UConn goal 3:49 into the second period is waved off due to goalie interference

End of second period- Maine still down 2-0 to the UConn Huskies. The Black Bears got 20 minutes to try to extend their eight game unbeaten streak (7-0-1)
