Final- #9 Maine men's hockey 4, UMass 3. The Black Bears finish the regular season at 22-10-2, 14-9-1 in Hockey East. Maine will host a quarterfinal next Saturday at 7 p.m. opponent to be determined Wednesday once the opening round finishes

Maine baseball lost in game two to Bethune-Cookman 19-16 Saturday night in Daytona Beach. Four Black Bears had two hits each, while Jeremiah Jenkins and Zach Martin both had three RBI. Maine (1-10) will try to salvage the final game of the series on Sunday afternoon at 2, and also try to snap their six game losing skid

Maine baseball ended their six game losing streak by defeating Bethune-Cookman 6-4 in the final contest of that series this afternoon. Logan Burrill had a three-run homerun, and Nick White had a big two-run double for the Black Bears (2-10). Maine plays a single game at the University of South Florida on Wednesday at 6 p.m. 

Maine softball dropped both games at the Colorado State Invitational today, both in five innings (mercy) 9-1 to Drake and 17-1 to the host Rams. The Black Bears (1-14) play one more game in the Invitational on Monday against Idaho State, before playing Northern Colorado University and Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska on Tuesday 

Maine softball drops the final game of the Colorado State Invitational, 9-5 to Idaho State. The Black Bears (1-15) look to break a seven game losing streak in Nebraska on Tuesday against Northern Colorado and the Cornhuskers. Maine will return East after the stop in Lincoln, Nebraska to play Boston College on March 19, and then opens America East action on March 23 at UMBC 

#1 seed Maine women's basketball (22-9) getting set to host #5 Binghamton (14-16) in the America East semifinals at the Pit in Orono with a trip to the conference championship game on the line. The Black Bears look to head back to that title game and host it as they did in 2022 in a loss to Albany
