Fort Fairfield and Bangor Christian hope to join Woodland as undefeated class D boys soccer teams

The Fort Fairfield Tigers boys soccer team will finish as the number one seed in the final Maine Principals’ Association class D heal point standings. The Tigers will try to finish the season with a 14-0 record when they host Washburn on Tuesday afternoon. Fort Fairfield defeated the Beavers 4-0 on August 25th. Washburn is 3-8-2 and could get a tournament spot with a win on Tuesday.

Bangor Christian could also finish with a 14-0 win against Schenck on Monday afternoon. The Patriots defeated the Wolverines 5-0 earlier in the season. Bangor Christian is currently seeded third in class D. Schenck has not loss a game in their last five.

Woodland finished a 14-0 regular season when they defeated Southern Aroostook 1-0 on Friday. The Dragons will enter the tournament as the number four seed and host a preliminary round game this Friday. Ashland finished the season 9-3-2 and is currently third in the class D standings.
