Carlos Gonzalez recorded 20 points, 16 rebounds, and 11 blocks in leading the Thomas College men’s basketball team to an 85-67 win over University of Maine at Machias on Friday night at the Charlie Ryan classic at Thomas.
John Morgan scored 16 points and pulled down 12 rebounds for the Terriers, while Matt Allen put in 15 points.
Jesse Gray scored a game high 21 points for Machias. Travonne Thompson scored 12 points and pulled down 13 rebounds. Thomas out rebounded Machias 57-35.
Thomas will take on Pine Manor at 1 PM on Saturday, while Machias will face UMPI at 3 PM. Both games are part of the Charlie Ryan Classic at Thomas College.
