Allain, Bouchard, Ireland, Arthur, Kelly nominated for Eastern Maine Sports girls soccer player of the year

Voting for Eastern Maine Sports girls soccer player of the year will begin on Tuesday, November 21st. The following players have been nominated. Voting will be open until Sunday, November 26th.

Alex Allain (Hermon), was named PVC Class B player of the year. Allain scored over 100 goals in her career. Kolleen Bouchard (Houlton), was named PVC Class C player of the year. Bouchard had 37 goals and nine assists in helping Houlton win the state title. The 37 goals is a school record. She scored the game winning goal in the state title win over Madison. Lexi Ireland (PVHS), was named PVC Class D player of the year. Maeve Arthur (Brunswick), was named KVAC class A player of the year. Kristina Kelly (Camden Hills), the sophomore scored 39 goals this season and was named to KVAC first team.
