Heather Thompson resigned from her position as girls basketball coach at Narraguagus high school on August 1st. Thompson coached the Lady Knights to the 2016 class C state championship.
Thompson said in a post on Facebook, “Being a coach is hard, but all the time, effort, and stress was worth being with the girls and being part of a sport I love.”
Thompson will still be at the gym this winter cheering on the Lady Knights. She said, “My family and I will be cheering them all on from the stands and hope that we all can come together to support, encourage, and cheer for each of them as a player and as a team.” To see the entire post from Thompson click here.
