Each week during the high school sports season, Eastern Maine Sports will announce a female and male athlete of the week. You can send your nominations during the week to Marc at easternmainesports@gmail.com. When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination. This week, we had two Rowell’s Garage male athlete of the week nominations. Michaleb Niles scored three touchdowns in leading the Foxcroft Ponies to a class D north semifinal win over Washington Academy. Niles joins Ryan Rebar (3) (2-17-13), Donnie Boyer (3) (6-2-13), Peter Boyer (3) (10-19-14), Brianna Skolfield (2) (12-15-13), Mackenzie Coiley (2) (1-26-14), Julia Annis (2) (2-17-14), Tino Ayala (2) (12-28-14), Cameron Fadley (2-25-13), Jesse Provost (4-28-13), Kaleb Smith (4-21-13), Hunter Smith (4) (2-6-16),Ali Bourget 9-25-16), Evan Chadbourne (10-23-16), and Nick Clawson (2) (11-12-17) as student/athletes from Foxcroft Academy that have earned athlete of the week honors.
