Each week during the high school sports season, Eastern Maine Sports will announce a female and male athlete of the week. You can send your nominations during the week to Marc at easternmainesports@gmail.com. When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination. This week, we had 13 Rowell’s Garage male athlete of the week nominations. Colby Pomeroy had a big game in an opening night win for Winslow over Mount View. Pomeroy. He joins Dylan Hapworth (11-23-14), Nate St. Amand (11-16-15), Ben Smith (5-7-17), Carly Warn (10-21-18), Silver Clukey (1-21-19),Rod Clark (10-14-19) as student/athletes from Winslow high school to earn athlete of the week honors.

- Colby Pomeroy – Winslow – Basketball- the senior captain recorded 32 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists in 66-52 win over Mount View.
