Augusta- The Forest Hills girls basketball team won two games on the same day on Tuesday. First they picked up their first win of the season by knocking off North Haven in the early afternoon and then beat Highview Christian Academy 48-18 in a Class D South game played at the Augusta Civic Center Tuesday evening.

In the evening game, Linda Riley had 21 points and Caitlyn Loyston had 17 as the Tigers built a 13 point halftime lead and never looked back to improve to 2-2 on the early season.

HCA (2-1) was led by Cassidy Burns who had 8 points and Cassidy Lessner also chipped in 6. It was the Knights first loss of the season.

Forest Hills returns to action Friday at home vs Temple Academy at 5 pm while Highview Christian will host Jonesport-Beals Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the UMaine-Augusta Bangor Campus Fitness Center.
