Islesboro- The Highview Christian girls basketball team took an early ten point lead after the opening quarter and coasted the rest of the way Saturday morning, defeating the Islesboro Eagles 44-23 in a Class D South matchup.
Cassidy Lessner led the Knights from Charleston with 15 points and Kelsea McDonald had 14. Highview Christian Academy improves their record to 4-1.
Islesboro (0-2) got 10 points from Emily Lau and 5 from Jasmine Schoppe.
