Purdue 56 Maine 33 final score. Maine drops to 9-5 and Purdue improves to 9-2.

Purdue 52 Maine 29 with 4:25 left in the game

Purdue 42 Maine 20 end of third quarter. Gustafsson and Bella Swan lead Maine with 6 points a piece. Purdue is led by Wilson and Perry with 10 points a piece. Maine has committed 14 turnovers.

Purdue 36 Maine 18 with 4:59 left in third quarter. Maine hasn’t been able to get going offensively and have trailed by as many as 20 in the quarter.

Purdue 27 Maine 14 halftime.  Mikaela Gustafsson has 6 points to lead Maine but turnovers in the first half and 6-26 from the floor has Maine facing a double digit halftime deficit. Perry has 8 for Purdue while April Wilson has 6 points.

The University of Maine Women’s basketball team visits West Lafayette, Indiana for a first ever meeting with the Purdue Boilermakers out of the Big 10. Maine comes in with a three game win streak and a 9-4 record. Purdue is 8-2 and also winners of three straight. Purdue is coached by Sharon Versyp, a former coach of the Maine Black Bears.  Look for updates throughout the evening.
