Maine vs Brown Men’s basketball updates

Maine 98, Brown 92 final. Maine improves to 4-9 with their second straight win. Little had 24 points while Calixte had 22 and Reid-Knight 17.  Blackmon led 4-9 Brown with 20 points.

Little with a three pointer, a steal and sets up Troy Reid-Knight for another three pointer. Maine up 92-85 with 1:46 left.

Maine 83 Brown 79 with 3:45 left in regulation. Gloger has just fouled out with 14 points for the Black Bears.

Brown has taken their first lead since it was 3-0 early but Maine fights back and leads 74-73 with 7:56 left in the game.

Brown was 46.7% overall and 4-12 from behind the arc.  Maine was 2-2 from the line while Brown is 11-13. Brown with 10 turnovers and Maine with 5.

The University of Maine Black Bears men’s basketball team will face the Brown Bears Saturday afternoon at the Cross Insurance Center in their final non-conference game of the season. Maine (3-9) comes in off an overtime home victory in overtime against Quinnipiac on Tuesday night by a score of 98-95. The Black Bears were led by Till Gloger and Kevin Little who each had 20 points while Lavar Harewood had 16. Brown comes in a 4-8 with their latest game also coming in overtime, losing an 88-85 decision to Rhode Island. Brown is only 1-5 on the road.
