The Husson University Eagles basketball teams will host a women’s and men’s basketball doubleheader on Friday night against Castleton St. The Husson women will be up first in a battle for first in the conference. The Eagles comes in at 10-3 overall and 8-0 in the NAC while the Spartans are 11-3 and 7-1. Eagles are led by a trio of players including former Washburn standout Kenzie Worcester who averages 14 points a game, Victoria McIntyre averages 13, and former Presque Isle standout Chandler Guerrette averages nearly 12.
The men will finish off in the nightcap. The Eagles men’s team also comes in 10-3 and 8-0 while Castleton is 5-10 and 4-4 in NAC play. Eagles are lead by Raheeem Anderson and Trevon Butler. Anderson is averaging 22.8 points per game while Butler averages 22.1
