The regional cheerleading competitions were held today at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor and at the Augusta Civic Center in Augusta. Lewiston won the class A north title with Bangor the runner up. Old Town won the class B north title with Hermon runner up. Central Aroostook claimed the class D north title with Penbscot Valley high school runner. Orono was the top team in class C north, while Central was runner up. Listed below are all teams qualifying for the state competitions on February 6th.
