BANGOR- Sophomore Cassidy Lessner had a game high and a season high 25 points and also 11 rebounds to lead the Highview Christian Academy girls basketball team to a 44-31 Class D South victory over Greenville Monday evening at Johnston Gymnasium at Eastern Maine Community College.
The Knights, now 11-6, build a comfortable 15 point halftime lead over the visiting Lakers to help pick up the win. Megan McDonald chipped in with 8 points for HCA.
Greenville, who drops to 2-15, was led by Shelby Ward who had 10 points while Emma Bilodeau and Abbigail Carrier each had 5.
Highview Christian is currently in 5th place in the most recent Maine Principals’ Association heal point standings and will host Greater Portland Christian on Wednesday night in their regular season finale at 5 p.m. Greenville will travel to take on PVHS Thursday at 5 p.m. in Howland in their final game.
