The basketball fever has gotten my tied up this week so we are gonna do an abbreviated version of my picks this week. A blown third period lead by Notre Dame last week against Providence forced me to go 3-1 instead of 4-0 but we will take it. This week Maine goes on the road for two games at one of the hottest teams in hockey, the Northeastern Huskies, to finish off the regular season. We will also pick the home and home series between UMass-Lowell and Boston College.

This is not a good matchup for Maine considering the way the Huskies have played. Maine is in desperate need of points but unfortunately don’t see any coming their way this week at Matthews Arena.

This has a split written all over it and don’t be surprised to see these teams matchup again when the Hockey East playoffs start in a few weeks. I will pick the home team in each game.
