Last week I went 9-3 in the regional games to put me at 40 games over .500 for the season. I did correctly project the four teams that will be participating in Tampa beginning Thursday in the Frozen Four but now the hardest of jobs in picking the winners. I will project the winner of the National title no matter what the result is of Thursdays semifinal matchups.

Last week 9-3-0 Season record 70-30-10

Thursday, April 7th 5 p.m.

Boston College (28-7-5) vs Quinnipiac (31-3-7)

The team with the rich tournament experience in the BC Eagles against the overall number one seed and a team that has held the number one ranking in college hockey for a majority of the season.

The pick- I love the Eagles experience as being the lone representative from Hockey East but the Bobcats have simply been the best team all year. A possible instant classic and maybe even overtime. Quinnipiac 4, BC 3 (Overtime)

8:30 p.m. Thursday night

Denver (25-9-6) vs North Dakota (32-6-4)

Jimmy Montgomery, former Maine Black Bear, brings his team back to the Frozen Four against the team with most national championships on their resume.

The pick- Should be another great matchup, but gonna go with the team that has been in this spot the most. North Dakota 4, Denver 2

Saturday, April 9th National Championship game 8:30 p.m.

Quinnipiac vs North Dakota

This is ultimately whom I think will be there. There is a chance I am wrong and I will post my other predictions down below. This will be only the second appearance in the title game for Quinnipiac. They lost to Yale 4-0 back in 2013.

The pick- North Dakota takes their eighth national title banner back to Grand Forks and their first since the year 2000. North Dakota 5, Quinnipiac 3

Other possible title matchups-

Quinnipiac vs Denver

Pick- Quinnipiac 4-2

Boston College vs Denver

Pick- Denver 3-2

Boston College vs North Dakota

Pick- North Dakota 4-2
