Sarah Miller (15-7) took the loss for Binghamton allowing three earned on seven hits in six innings of work. Binghamton (34-14) will attempt to avoid elimination and advance to the championship round on Saturday at 10 a.m. when it faces Albany in a losers bracket game.

Maine (27-19) will await the Binghamton/Albany winner in the championship round which is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday. Rain may delay the title round until Sunday. The Black Bears will need just one win and their opponent must defeat Maine twice in order to claim the America East Championship.
