Maine Field Hockey continues offensive prowess in home win over Dartmouth

The University of Maine Field Hockey team continued their early season dominance in a 7-3 non conference victory over Dartmouth at the Maine Field Hockey Complex in Orono Monday afternoon.

Madison Cummings had three goals on the afternoon while Casey Crowley had a goal and four assists as Maine improved to 4-0.

Joanne Nazareth had a pair of goals to lead the Big Green of Dartmouth (0-2).

The Black Bears have now scored 24 goals in their first four contests. Prior to Monday Maine hadn’t given up more than a goal per game in their first three.

Emma Cochran (3-0) played the second half of the game and got the win in net for Maine while Emily Corbett played the first half.

Maine returns to action this Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. when they travel to Boston to face Boston University. Maine will stay in Boston and face University of California-Davis in a neutral site game Saturday at 3 p.m.
