UMF men’s basketball pick up first win of season: Kennadi Grover picks up double-double in women’s game

The  University of Maine at Farmington Beavers men’s basketball held an eight point halftime lead and maintained that advantage to earn a 72-64 at St. Joseph’s of Standish on Monday night.

Isaac Witham led the Beavers with 18 points, Bill Ruby filled up the star sheet with 15 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Riley Robinson added 11 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals. 

UMF (1-2) will next play on November 29th when they host Husson.  

The UMF women’s team fell in the opener game of the night by a score of 71-43.

Kelly Pomerleau scored 12 points for the Beavers, while Kennadi Grover recorded a double double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
