NORTH ANSON- The Carrabec girls basketball team outscored Highview Christian Academy 16-2 in the second half Saturday evening to pick up a 31-15 preseason win at Carrabec High School.
Bailey Dunphy scored 10 points and Caitlin Crawford added eight for the Cobras.
Highview was led by Brooke Trafton who had five points, and Cassidy Lessner added four.
Carrabec outscored the Knights 10-2 in the third quarter and 6-0 in the fourth to break open a slim 15-13 halftime lead.
Highview has one more preseason game Monday at East Grand before opening their season next Friday at home against Greater Portland Christian at 7 p.m. Carrabec opens their season also next Friday at 7 when they host Monmouth Academy.
