DEXTER– Mitch Jarvis scored 18 of his game high 20 points in the first half to lead the Madison Bulldogs boys basketball team to a 58-35 victory over Dexter at the Maine Highlands Federal Credit Union Tipoff Classic on Saturday evening.
Jarvis scored 11 points in the second quarter as the Bulldogs scored 21 in the quarter and took a 32-17 halftime lead. Sean Whalen added 12 points, including six in the third quarter as Madison put the game away.
Matt Richards and CJ Cooper led the Tigers with six points each. Dexter defeated Waterville earlier in the day. Madison lost to John Bapst earlier in the day.
