Class B boys basketball highlights a light night on the schedule around the area.
Orono will play at Hermon. The Red Riots started the season with a 61-48 win at Houlton. Orono will start the season with four road games. They will not be at home until a clash with Central two days before Christmas. The Hawks defeated Presque Isle 64-48 in their season opener. This starts a tough week for Hermon, they host MDI on Saturday.
Ellsworth will play at Central this evening. The Eagles rolled to a season opening win over Foxcroft Academy. The Red Devils starred the season with a 56-49 win at Mattanawcook. Central will travel to Houlton on Friday. Ellsworth will host the defending class C state champions from George Stevens on Friday night.
Foxcroft will be looking to bounce back after a season opening loss to Ellsworth when they play John Bapst at the Cross Insurance Center this evening. John Bapst defeated Caribou 60-43 in their opener.
