The MDI Trojans boys basketball team hosted Hermon in the highlight game on Friday night. The Trojans started the game on a 10-2 run and held off the Hawks for a 58-48 victory. The Trojans are 10-0 and currently number one in the Maine Principals’ Assocation class B North heal point standings.
George Stevens outscored Bucksport 17-3 in the second quarter and rolled to a 66-33 victory. Taylor Schildroth scored 24 points to lead the Eagles. George Stevens is 11-0 and number one in the class C North heal point standings.
The Machias Bulldogs outscored Woodland 12-4 in the fourth quarter to earn a 65-53 victory. James Mersereau led the Bulldogs with 32 points. Machias is 11-0 and second in the class D standings.
