Justin Thompson broke the all time Schenck high school boys basketball scoring record in a Wolverines win over Dexter on Friday night. Kolleen Bouchard scored 40 points in helping Houlton defeat Calais on Thursday night.
On Sunday, Bouchard was named Roadrunner Taxi female athlete of the week, while Thompson was named McGuire Seasonal Services male athlete of the week. Bouchard and Thompson are the first student/athletes to earn eight athlete of the week honors. Karli Theberge (Hermon) and Gage Feeney (Washington Academy) have been named athlete of the week seven times.
