On Thursday, the Maine Principals’ Assocation announced the cheerleading schedule for the regional and state competitions.
Here is a look at the schedule.
Regional competition – Top 6 teams from each class will proceed to the State Championship.
January 28th
Cross Insurance Center, Bangor
- Class C North
Competition begins- 9 AM Awards- 10:45 AM
- Class D North/South
Competition begins- 11:15 AM Awards- 12:30 PM
- Class B North
Competition begins- 1:45 PM Awards- 3:15 PM
@ Augusta Civic Center
- Class B South
Competition begins- 9 AM Awards- 10:30 AM
- Class A North
Competition begins- 11:45 AM Awards- 1:15 PM
- Class C South
Competition begins- 2:30 PM Awards- 3:45 PM
- Class A South
Competition begins- 5 PM Awards- 6;45 PM
State Competition
February 11th
@ Augusta Civic Center
- 10 AM- Class D competition followed by class A.
- 12 PM – presentation of awards.
- 2 PM- Class B & Class C competition begins.
- 4:30 PM- Presentation of awards.
