Each week during the high school sports season, Eastern Maine Sports will announce a female and male athlete of the week. You can send your nominations during the week to Marc at easternmainesports@gmail.com. When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination. Here is a full list of the 209 past athlete of the week winners.
This week, we had nine Rowell’s Garage female athlete of the week nominations. Kolleen Bouchard averaged over 23 points and 11 rebounds in three games to earn athlete of the week honors. Bouchard is the only student/athlete to be named athlete of the week 10 times.

Kolleen Bouchard – Houlton- basketball- had 25 points and 18 rebounds in 62-31 win over Mattanawcook. Had 34 pints and five rebounds in 63-62 loss to Presque Isle. Recorded 11 points, 10 rebounds,seven blocks, six steals, and four assists in 57-22 win over Old Town.

Sydney Allen- Central- basketball- recorded 19 points, four rebounds, four steals, and two assists in 44-43 loss to Hermon. Recorded 18 points, five assists, three steals, and three rebounds in 47-41 win over Washington Academy,

Emi Higgins- Hermon- basketball- scored 17 points in 44-43 win over Central.
Crystal Bell- John Bapst- basketball- recorded 30 points (15 in first quarter), eight rebounds, four assists, and four steals in 64-31 win over Mattanawcook.
Emma Alley- Stearns – basketball- scored a career high 33 points in 69- 27 win over Penquis.
Peighton Ingersoll- Stearns- basketball- scored 17 points in 69-27 win over Penquis.
Abigail Allen- Central- basketball- recorded nine points, five steals, and four assists in 47-41 win over Washington Academy,
Emma Campbell- Central – basketball- scored 10 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in 47-41 win over Washington Academy.
Morgan Dauk- George Stevens – basketball- scored 29 points and pulled down 16 rebounds in 69-27 win over Bucksport.
