Husson men’s basketball defeats Johnson State to improve conference record to 12-2

The Husson University men’s basketball team had a 10 point halftime lead and held on for a 76-69 win at Johnson State on Saturday afternoon. 

Raheem Anderson scored 23 points (8-8 FT) to lead the way for the Eagles. Mitch Worcester added 18 points (6-7 FT). Justin Martin scored 12 points and pulled down 15 rebounds. 

The Eagles out rebounded Johnson State 41-26. Husson built the lead to 14 early in the second half.

Husson (14-6/12-2) will play a non conference game at Colby on Tuesday night.
