The Husson University baseball team was selected second in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) preseason coached poll. Castleton received all seven first place votes.
Husson has 21 returning players, including seniors Ryan Rebar, Christian Corneil, Cam Archer, and Ben Walls. Rebar was a first team all conference selection last season, while Walls was a second team selection.
UMF is selected to finish fifth in the preseason poll. Thomas is picked sixth. The Terriers have 20 freshmen on their roster.
Husson will open an eight game trip to Florida with two games on Sunday. Their home opener is scheduled for March 18th against Bates.
UMF Is scheduled to open the season at Fisher College on March 18th. The Beavers are scheduled to play two games against Fisher and two against Dean College that weekend.
Thomas will open their season on March 20th when they start a 12 game/9 day stretch in Florida.
