Thomas comes up big in Celtics game one victory over Washington

Isaiah Thomas scored 33 points to lead the Boston Celtics to a 123-111 win over the Washington Wizards in   game one of their Eastern Conference semifinal series on Sunday afternoon at the TD Garden.

The Wizards jumped out to a 16-0 lead. The Celtics outscored Washington 35-26 in the second quarter and 36-16 in the third quarter. 

Jae Crowder added 24 points, while Al Horford filled up the stat sheet with 21 points, 10 assists, and nine rebounds.  Game two of the series will be Tuesday night in Boston.
