With two weeks left in the high school softball season, only four Northern Maine teams remain undefeated.
Hermon (10-0) will have a big test this afternoon when they host Old Town. The Hawks won the first meeting 7-4 on April 27th.
Bucksport (10-0) will host Searsport on Friday. The Bucks will have a busy week with games against MDI, Orono , and Dexter on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday next week. Bucksport is number one in the current Maine Principals’ Association class C heal point standings.
Mattanawcook (10-0) is second in the class C heal point standings. The Lynx will have five games in the next seven days.
The Penobscot Valley High School (PVHS) Howlers (10-0) plays at Penquis this afternoon. PVHS is scheduled to play four games next week.
