Skowhegan softball finishes as top seed in MPA class A standings

The Skowhegan Indians softball ended the regular season with nine straight wins. That helped earn the 14-2 Indians the top seed in the Maine Principals’ Association class A heal point standings 

Bangor (11-5) finished fourth and will host fifth seeded Lewiston in a quarterfinal game.  Bangor defeated Lewsiston 13-1 during the regular season.

Brewer (10-6) finished sixth in the standings. The Witches will travel to third seeded Oxford Hills for a quarterfinal contest. Brewer won the regular season matchup over the Vikings 10-3.

Edward Little (12-4) finished second. The Red Eddies went 2-2 in their last four games.

#10 Lawrence at #7 Messalonskee (9-7) and #9 Cony (8-8) at #8 Mt. Ararat will be the prelim games.
