Madyson Robichaud and Hailey Perry among the six finalist for Miss Maine softball

Last year, Karli Theberge became the first student/athlete from Hermon Hawks to be named Miss Maine softball. This year, Hailey Perry from Hermon has been named one of the finalist.

Theberge was the first from an Eastern Maine/Northern Maine school to earn the honor since Sam Bedore from Bangor won in 2010.

PVC class C player of the year, Madyson Robichaud has also been named a finalist. Robichaud smashed a two run home run in the seventh inning of the Bucksport Bucks 2-1 class C regional final win over Mattanawcook. Robichaud and the Bucks will play Madison in the state title game Saturday at 2 PM.

The other finalists are – Sara Ring (Wells), Lilly Volk (Scarborough), Oliva Mora (Windham), and Ally Tillotson (Cheverus). The winner will be announced Thursday, June 22nd at the senior all-star game in Augusta.
