Pomeranz gets 14th win as Red Sox get a needed victory

The Boston Red Sox scored four runs in the seventh inning and held on for a 6-5 win at Toronto on Monday night.

Drew Pomeranz allowed three runs on seven hits and five walks, while striking out four. Pomeranz is now tied for the lead league in wins.

Christian Vazquez went 4-4, including a long two run home run that gave the Red Sox a lead in the seventh inning. Eduardo Nunez also hit a home run. 

Craig Kimbrel gave up two runs in the ninth inning, but held on for his 30th save.  The Red Sox snapped a four game losing streak and have a 3.5 game lead in the American Leagie East.
