Moreland comes off the bench to spark Red Sox to win over Blue Jays

Mitch Moreland didn’t start the game, but he helped finish it on Wednesday night at Toronto. 

Moreland came off the bench to hit a pinch hit go ahead two run home run in the seventh inning. Moreland helped put the game away with a two run single in the eighth inning as the Red Sox rolled to a 7-1 win over the Blue Jays 

Rick Porcello (9-15) allowed one run on six hits in 6.2 innings. Porcello walked two and struck out seven. 

Hanley Ramirez had two hits, including his 21st home run of the season. Rafael Devers also had two hits.

The Red Sox have a 5.5 game lead in the American League East over the Yankees heading into a four game series at the Bronx.
