Fister continues to dominate in win over Yankees

September 2, 2017

The Boston Red Sox needed a pitcher to step up for the stretch drive. Fister has done just that as he threw another gem on Friday night at Yankee stadium.

Fister allowed one run on four hits and one walk, while striking out five in leading the Red Sox to a 4-1 win over the Yankeess. Fister is 4-2 with a 2.78 ERA in his last six starts.

Eduardo Nunez hit a two run home run, while Andrew Benintendi and Hanley Ramirez each hit a solo home run.

Addison Reed and Craig Kimbrel each pitched a perfect inning of relief. Kimbrel recorded his 32nd save.
