Husson field hockey gets win at Wellesley behind hat trick from Royer

Sadie Royer recorded a hat trick to lift the Husson University field hockey team to a 4-2 at Wellesley on Saturday.

Royer scored the first goal of the game just 2:26 in.

After Wellesley tied the game, Royer gave the Eagles a 2-1 lead with 5:54 remaining in the first half.

Early in the second half, Royer scored her third goal of the game making the score 3-1. Arika Brochu added a goal for the Eagles.

Alli Bourget added an assist for Husson. Anne Marie Provenca recorded 14 saves for the Eagles. Husson (1-0) will take on USM on Sunday morning.
