Bryant University got a game winning goal from Marissa Grasso in the 77th minute Thursday afternoon to defeat Maine in womens soccer action by a score of 2-1 at Mahaney Diamond in Orono.
Maine got an early lead in the sixth minute when Nicole Bailey scored her first of the season to make it 1-0 Bears. The Bulldogs answered back as Remi Manna evened the contest in the 29th minute.
Maine attempted 10 shots in the game, with only two getting on the net. Bryant attempted eight, with five on goal.
Maine drops to 1-4-1 on the season, while Bryant goes to 4-1-1. Maine next will host Marist on Sunday at 12 p.m.
