Red Sox offense explodes early in win over Rays

The Boston Red Sox pounded out 15 hits and rolled to a 9-0 win over the Tampa Bay Rays at Fenway Park on Saturday night. 

Dustin Pedroia got the scoring started with a two run home run in the first inning. Pedroia reached base four times, including two hits. Andrew Benintendi had three hits and three RBI.

While the offense was rolling, Chris Sale was doing his thing on the mound. Sale allowed six hits and one walk, while striking out eight in six shutout innings.
