Kolleen Bouchard earns 11th Charles Inn female athlete of the week

Each week during the high school sports season, Eastern Maine Sports will announce a female and male athlete of the week. You can send your nominations during the week to Marc at easternmainesports@gmail.com. When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination. Here is a full list of the 232 past athlete of the week winners.

This week, we had 12 Rowell’s Garage female athlete of the week nominations. Kolleen Bouchard scored six goals in leading the Houlton girls soccer team to three road wins this week. Bouchard earned her 11th athlete of the week honor. Bouchard is the only student/athlete with at least 10 athlete of the week honors, including the only female with more than seven.

  • Kolleen Bouchard:- Houlton- soccer- scored three goals in 5-0 win at Mattanawcook. Had one goal in 2-0 win at Fort Kent. Had two goals in 4-0 win over George Stevens. Had six goals in three road shutout wins for the Shires.

  • Cheyenne Beem- Dexter-field hockey- recorded three goals and three assists in 9-0 win over PCHS.

  • Aubrey Godin- Dexter – field hockey- scored four goals in 10-1 win over Mattanawcook.
  • Miranda Poulin- Foxcroft- field hockey- scored two goals in 9-0 win over PCHS.
  • Kylie Dow- Foxcroft – field hockey- scored two goals in 9-0 win over PCHS. Scored one goal in 2-0 win over Old Town.
  • Jemyni True- Foxcroft- field hockey- scored two goals in 9-0 win over PCHS.
  • Lexi Ireland- PVHS – soccer- recorded a hat trick and one assist in 5-2 win over Searsport. 
  • Javona Philbrick- Highview Christian- soccer- scored two goals in 3-0 win over Greater Portland Christian. 
  • Danielle Cummings- Dexter – soccer – recorded a hat trick in 6-3 win over Central. 
  • Sarah Guimond- Winslow- soccer- scored two goals and had one assist in 4-0 win over Lawrence. 
  • Hayley Rossman- Dexter- field hockey- scored three goals and had one assist in 9-0 win over PCHS.
  • Rylee Buck- PVHS- soccer- scored four goals in 7-0 win over Lee.
