October 21, 2017

The Boston Celtics put six players in double figures Friday night, and outscored the Philadelphia 76ers 33-20 in the fourth quarter to pick up their first win of the season by a score of 102-92 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Kyrie Irving led the way with 21 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Al Horford had 17 points and nine rebounds, while Jayson Tatum had 15 points and eight rebounds. Terry Rozier had 14 points, and Aron Baynes and Shane Larkin had 10 points a piece. Larkin was in the lineup due to a left ankle sprain to Marcus Smart, which kept Smart out of the lineup Friday night. Smart has been inserted in place of injured Gordon Hayward, who broke his ankle opening night at Cleveland. J.J. Reddick had 19 points, and Jerryd Bayless had 18 for 0-2 Philadephia.

Boston will next play Tuesday night when they host the NY Knicks at TD Garden at 7:30 p.m.
