Catherine Tufts scores two goals to lead the University of Maine women’s hockey team to a 4-2 win over Northeastern on Tuesday night at Alfond Arena.
After a scoreless first period, Tufts got the scoring started just 32 seconds into the second period. The Black Bears outscored the Huskies 3-2 in the second frame. Tufts added an insurance goal in the third period.
The Black Bears are 7-5 overall and 2-2 in Hockey East.
