The Boston Celtics blew a 19 point lead to the Indiana Pacers Monday night, but a steal and dunk in the closing seconds gave Boston a dramatic 112-111 win.
Down 107-102 with just 27 seconds left to play it looked as if Boston would fall, but a 10-4 run led the Celtics to the late comeback win after dominating the first half. Kyle Irving nailed a three pointer to cut the Pacers lead to 111-110 with just nine seconds left. On the ensuing inbounds play after a timeout, Terry Rozier picked off a cross court pass by Bojan Bogdanovic at the top of the key, and raced down the floor for the dunk with just 1.5 seconds remaining as Boston won their 26th game (26-7).
Irving led the Celtics with 30 points and four assists. Jason Tatum had 16 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Marcus Smart had 15 points, four rebounds, and five assists. Al Horford had another double double with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists.
