Kenzie Worcester scored 36 points in leading Husson to a women’s basketball victory over Maine Maritime last Saturday. During the win, Worcester went 20-23 from the free throw line. She also surpassed the 1000 career point mark. She is the fastest to reach 1000 points in Husson School history. She also broke the school record for free throws made in a single game.
Worcester was named player of the week by the NAC, NEWBA, MWBCA, ECAC, and d3hoops.com. She is the first player in Husson women’s basketball to earn the honors in all five. Husson is 6-5 overall and 5-1 in conference play. The Eagles host Colby-Sawyer on Friday night and New England College on Saturday afternoon.
