Some local college softball teams have completed their Florida trips. Despite the snow on the ground, games will go on this weekend with some site changes.
The Husson Eagles will play a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Colby College in Waterville against Newbury College. First pitch is scheduled for 1 PM. The Eagles will step on their home field for the first time on Sunday afternoon at 2 PM when they play an exhibition doubleheader against Southern Maine Community College
UMF will play a doubleheader at Fisher College at noon on Saturday. The Beavers will play a doubleheader at Husson against Newbury On Sunday morning at 10.
UMPI will play at Mahaney Dome against Pine Manor at the University of Maine at Orono this weekend. The doubleheader on Saturday starts at 3 PM and Sunday at 11 AM.
Thomas College and Colby College are still on their Florida swing through next week. University of Maine at Boston University games this weekend have been postponed.
