Oceanside baseball rallies in 7th to grab walk-off win in season opener

Wednesday April 18 at Morrill Field in Rockland

Oceanside rallied from down 7-1 to plate four runs in the 4th and then scored three in the bottom of the 7th to walk off Maranacook 8-7 in the high school baseball season opener for both.  Matt Waldron highlighted the 4th inning rally with a two run single and then in the 7th Uriah Thongsophaphone ripped a two run double to tie the game and scored the game winner on Michael Dougherty’s walk off single.  Silas Mahlar had three hits and drove in three runs, including

a pair on a two run double in the 3rd for Maranacook.
