As we enter week number six of the National Football League season, the Eastern Maine Sports staff have created a close log jam towards the top in our weekly forecast of games. Jeff Hoak and Anthony Delmonaco each had a 9-6 record last week and finished in a tie in week number five. The 9-6 mark by Hoak gives him a two game lead on Marc Calnan for first place, as Calnan went 7-8. Chris Lessner finished 7-8 as well and is in third place, two games behind Calnan. Right behind Chris is daughter Cassidy Lessner, who went 8-7 and pulls within two games of third place. This week the staff believes the Falcons, Chargers, Raiders, Panthers, Vikings, Rams, Jaguars, and Packers all pick up comfortable wins, while the Eagles-Giants, Colts-Jets, Bills-Texans, Steelers-Bengals, Bears-Dolphins, Ravens-Titans, and Chiefs-Patriots may be most competitive games on the slate.
