Hayward gets hat trick as Woodland rolls in senior game victory

At Woodland, the 12-1 Dragons won their senior game against the 3-9-1 Katahdin Cougars by a score of 5-0. Drew Hayward scored first for the Dragons after following up his deflected penalty kick and placing it in the back of the net. Later in the first half Hayward would complete his hat trick off of assists from Sabre Phelps and Gavin Gardner. The Dragons scored two goals in the second half, the first was a deep shot by senior sweeper, Gavin Gardner. The last goal come from senior, four year keeper, Alex Morrison when he was placed up front to get an opportunity to score, he capitalized on that opportunity with 43 seconds left in the game off an assist from Sabre Phelps.
